Travel from London Heathrow to Karachi

I travelled to Karachi from London via Turkish airline.
First I took train at 6:18 am from Ipswich (UK) to London Liverpool Street.
Then I took tube to airport. We reached in time to airport.
It was very busy as usual. Airport employees were cooperative and friendly.
Oh! I frogot to tell you that one of my friend dropped me to Ipswich railway station.
I was carrying my laptop too and 2 other baggage.
Flight was smooth to Istabnul (Turkey). Food was nice and crew members were friendly, though food was not good at all on return but crew memberes were friendly.
It was bit hot in Turky and hotter in Karachi. We were given Airbus from UK to Istabnul but Boeing from Istabul to Karachi. Air bus is much much better then boeing planes. From UK to Istabul its about 3:45 hrs journey while from Turkey to Karachi its about 5:45 hours so Turkis airline should think changing palane i.e they should provide Airbus from Trukey to karachi as its long journey.
Flight arrived on time to karachi though it was half an hour late on returning journey.
I'd like to travel with Turkish Airline from UK but won't like to use Turkish airline on returning journy again.

ICE Campaign - "In Case of Emergency"

We all carry our mobile phones (I think it also applies to all electronic instruments which give us address book like palm computers, some mp3 palyers etc) with names and numbers stored in its memory but nobody, other than us, knows which of these numbers belong to our closest family or friends. If we were to be involved in an accident or were taken ill, the people attending us would have our mobile phone but wouldn't know who to call.



Yes, there are hundreds of numbers stored but which one is the contact person in case of an emergency? Hence the "ICE" (In Case of Emergency) campaign.

The concept of "ICE" is catching on quickly. It is a method of contact during emergency situations. As cell phones are carried by the majority of the population, all you need to do is store the number of a contact person or persons who should be contacted during emergency under the name "ICE" ( In Case Of Emergency).

The idea was thought up by a paramedic who found that when he went to the scenes of accidents, there were always mobile phones with patients, but they didn't know which number to call.
He therefore thought that it would be a good idea if there was a nationally recognized name for this purpose. In an emergency situation, Emergency Service personnel and hospital Staff would be able to quickly contact the right person by simply dialing the number you have stored as "ICE." For more than one contact name simply enter ICE1, ICE2 and ICE3 etc. A great idea that will make a difference!



Let's spread the concept of ICE by storing an ICE number in our Mobile phones today!

Learning CSS - Points to remember

I started to learn Cascade Style Sheet (CSS)

Points to remember:
CSS is case sensitve : be carefull when you are writing CSS tags. For example if you have created a class name "myClass" in style sheet but you are trying to implement class to a html tag as "myclass" it will not work.

Divs and spans: div means division its used to divide a page int several parts while span is used to sub-devide a div.

"Using too many divs is often described as divitus and is usually a sign that your code is poorly structured and overly complicated." (Andy budd et al, CSS Mastery)

Can we live without Modern technologies?

My opinion is yes we can live without modern technologies as our ancestors did. Living without modern technologies would be life with out colours for us. Sometimes I compare my livings in UK with third world country village where there is no electricity, Gas, transport system. I can not live without electricity as I have to use computer and using computer without Internet is like i am in a room having TV but not transmission. When I use Internet I feel whole world is on my finger tips. I can find my acquired information easily. My whole entertainment is on Internet. I do not watch TV, I use my computer as TV whether its bad or good but I do. What do you feel? Can you live without modern technologies in a third world country?
